The Lean philosophy is based on a core principle: identifying and eliminating waste (Muda) in every phase of production, from raw materials to the delivery of the finished product.

Here are the three pillars on which our new operational structure is built:

At the heart of Lean is recognizing and removing everything that does not add value. We have identified and are reducing seven main types of waste:

  • Overproduction: producing goods before they are needed.
  • Waiting: idle time between one phase and the next.
  • Transportation: unnecessary movement of materials or products.
  • Incorrect processes: steps not required by the customer.
  • Excess inventory: stockpiles that are unnecessarily large.
  • Unnecessary movements: inefficient movements of personnel.
  • Defects: errors requiring rework or generating waste.
  1. Continuous Improvement (Kaizen)

Lean is not a destination but a journey. We have introduced the concept of Kaizen, meaning continuous improvement. All members of our team are now encouraged to identify small, constant improvements in their daily processes. This approach ensures that our standards of efficiency and quality are always evolving upward.

  1. Just-In-Time Production (JIT)

We are optimizing production to create exactly what is needed, when it is needed. This drastically reduces warehouse costs, minimizes the risk of obsolescence and allows us to respond more quickly to customer demands, shortening delivery times.
